Dear Parents and Carers,

We would like to share some important updates as we begin the new academic year.

We are pleased to welcome Ms. Rhiannon Hutchins as the new Head of Centre. Ms. Hutchins brings a wealth of experience, having previously led a successful Year 11 centre, and is committed to supporting our students through this crucial stage of their education.

To better meet the needs of all our learners, we have broadened the curriculum to include more vocational elements, delivered in partnership with Achieve Alternative Provision. This approach is designed to engage students and provide them with practical skills alongside academic qualifications.

Our aim is for every pupil to achieve qualifications in English, Maths, and Science, and we are putting support in place to help them succeed.

In addition, Pete, our dedicated Careers Officer, will be working closely with students throughout the year to explore post-16 options, including college, apprenticeships, and employment pathways.
